Description
Testagen 20 mg
Buy Testagen 20 mg for laboratory research. Each vial contains 20 mg of Testagen as lyophilized powder.
- 20 mg: per vial
Testagen is a short synthetic bioregulator peptide. It is generally described by suppliers as the tetrapeptide Lys-Glu-Asp-Gly (KEDG); no CAS number has been confirmed for it, so its identity should be checked against the batch documentation.
Choose the size
Testagen is offered in a single 20 mg strength. It belongs to the family of short peptides associated with the bioregulator research tradition of Vladimir Khavinson and colleagues, several of which differ by only one or two residues. Because names in this group are applied inconsistently across suppliers, compare the stated sequence rather than the product name when selecting related compounds.
Testagen is supplied on its own and is not a blend.
What the research establishes
The published literature on this peptide is limited, largely Russian-language and mostly from a small number of research groups. Kuznik and colleagues synthesised the tetrapeptides Lys-Glu-Asp-Gly and Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly and studied them in neonatally hypophysectomised chickens, reporting changes in thyroid-stimulating hormone, thyroid hormone levels and thyroid gland structure.
That study concerns the KEDG sequence in a single avian model, and its findings have not been widely replicated. It does not establish any effect for this product, and claims about Testagen’s activity in other tissues should be treated as unverified.
Review the COA and product files
COA & Documentation contains the available batch reports and product documentation. Check the lot and 20 mg strength, confirm that the stated sequence is Lys-Glu-Asp-Gly and that the mass spectrometry result matches the expected molecular weight of that tetrapeptide, and note how purity was measured.
The strength above describes labelled material, not a measured result for every lot. For handling and storage, consult the records that apply to your batch.
