Retatrutide (LY3437943) is a synthetic, lipidated single peptide designed as an agonist at three receptors: the glucagon receptor, the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor and the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor. It is identified by CAS 2381089-83-2.
Choose the size
The 10 mg, 20 mg, 30 mg and 40 mg vials contain the same compound in different labeled amounts. Choose by the quantity your work requires; the molecule does not change between sizes.
Retatrutide is a different molecule from tirzepatide, a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist, and from single-receptor GLP-1 agonists. These compounds have different sequences and receptor profiles and are not interchangeable.
What the research establishes
Coskun and colleagues at Eli Lilly described the discovery of LY3437943, reporting balanced activity at the glucagon and GLP-1 receptors and greater activity at the GIP receptor in vitro. In obese mice, they reported effects on body weight and glycaemic control, with glucagon receptor activity associated with increased energy expenditure, alongside an early phase 1 clinical study of safety and pharmacokinetics.
Retatrutide remains an investigational compound; a phase 2 trial has been published and the phase 3 TRIUMPH programme is under way. These findings concern the developer’s material under those study conditions, not the performance of this product.
Review the COA and product files
The COA & Documentation page contains the available batch reports and product documentation. Check the lot number and strength, the method used to confirm identity (such as mass spectrometry, which should reflect the lipidated structure) and the purity method (such as HPLC).
The strengths above describe labeled material, not a measured result for every lot. For handling and storage, consult the records applicable to your specific lot.
