Description
PT-141 10 mg
Buy PT-141 10 mg for laboratory research. Each vial contains 10 mg of PT-141 (bremelanotide) as lyophilized powder.
- 10 mg: per vial
PT-141, also known as bremelanotide, is a synthetic cyclic heptapeptide analogue of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH), Ac-Nle-cyclo[Asp-His-D-Phe-Arg-Trp-Lys]-OH, with a lactam bridge between the aspartic acid and lysine side chains. It acts at melanocortin receptors and is identified by CAS 189691-06-3.
Choose the size
PT-141 is offered in a single 10 mg strength.
It should not be confused with Melanotan II, which is listed separately. The two share the same cyclic ring sequence, but bremelanotide has a C-terminal free acid where Melanotan II carries a C-terminal amide. Bremelanotide is reported as a metabolite of Melanotan II, yet the two are distinct molecules with different identifiers.
What the research establishes
Bremelanotide is an approved medicine in some jurisdictions, and its clinical development was documented in the RECONNECT phase 3 programme. Kingsberg and colleagues reported the two randomised, placebo-controlled phase 3 trials in premenopausal women with hypoactive sexual desire disorder, conducted under medical supervision with defined endpoints and safety monitoring.
Those trials concern a regulated pharmaceutical product studied under clinical conditions, not the performance of this research material. Nothing on this page relates to clinical use.
Review the COA and product files
The COA & Documentation page contains the available batch reports and product documentation. Check the lot number and strength, that the identity confirmed is bremelanotide (C-terminal free acid) rather than Melanotan II, the method used to confirm identity (such as mass spectrometry) and the purity method (such as HPLC).
The strength above describes labeled material, not a measured result for every lot. For handling and storage, consult the records applicable to your specific lot.
