Description
KPV 5 mg and 10 mg
Buy KPV 5 mg or 10 mg for laboratory research. Each vial contains the labeled amount of KPV as lyophilized powder.
- 5 mg: per vial
- 10 mg: per vial
KPV is the tripeptide lysine-proline-valine (Lys-Pro-Val), corresponding to the C-terminal residues 11–13 of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH), and is identified by CAS 67727-97-3.
Choose the size
The 5 mg and 10 mg vials contain the same tripeptide in different labeled amounts. Choose by the quantity your work requires; the compound does not change between sizes.
KPV is a single compound. It is not a blend and does not contain BPC-157, TB-500 or GHK-Cu. Because KPV is very small, the salt form and counter-ion reported on the COA can make a noticeable difference to the peptide content of a given mass.
What the research establishes
Dalmasso and colleagues studied KPV in human intestinal epithelial cell lines (Caco2-BBE and HT29-Cl.19A) and Jurkat T cells exposed to pro-inflammatory cytokines, and in mice with chemically induced (DSS and TNBS) colitis. They reported that KPV entered cells through the peptide transporter PepT1, inhibited NF-κB and MAP kinase signalling, reduced pro-inflammatory cytokine secretion in the cell models and reduced the incidence of colitis in both mouse models.
These findings concern KPV under those experimental conditions in cell and animal models, not the performance of this product.
Review the COA and product files
The COA & Documentation page contains the available batch reports and product documentation. Check the lot number and strength, the identity assigned to the material and the method used to confirm it (such as mass spectrometry), the purity method (such as HPLC), and any salt form or counter-ion stated in the report.
The strengths above describe labeled material, not a measured result for every lot. For handling and storage, consult the records applicable to your specific lot.
