Description
Ipamorelin 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg
Buy Ipamorelin 5 mg, 10 mg or 20 mg for laboratory research. Each vial contains the stated amount of Ipamorelin as lyophilized powder.
- 5 mg: per vial
- 10 mg: per vial
- 20 mg: per vial
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide, Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2, that acts as an agonist at the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a, the ghrelin receptor). It is identified by CAS 170851-70-4.
Choose the size
The 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg vials contain the same peptide in different labelled amounts. The specification is the same across sizes; only the quantity per vial differs.
Ipamorelin acts on a different receptor from GHRH analogues such as CJC-1295 No DAC, which are sold separately on this store. This product contains Ipamorelin only and is not premixed with any other peptide.
What the research establishes
Raun and colleagues characterised Ipamorelin in primary rat pituitary cells, anaesthetised rats and conscious swine. It released growth hormone with potency and efficacy comparable to GHRP-6, acting through a GHRP-type receptor. Unlike GHRP-6 and GHRP-2, it did not raise ACTH or cortisol, even at doses far above those needed for growth hormone release, and none of the compounds tested altered FSH, LH, prolactin or TSH.
These findings concern Ipamorelin in those cell and animal models under those experimental conditions. They do not describe the properties or performance of this product.
Review the COA and product files
The COA & Documentation page contains the available batch reports and product documentation. Check that the lot number and strength match your vial, that the identity method (for example mass spectrometry) matches the expected molecular weight of the pentapeptide, and which method (typically HPLC) was used to determine purity. Note any counter-ion stated on the report.
The strengths above describe labelled material, not a measured result for every lot. For handling and storage, consult the records that apply to your lot.
