CJC-1295 with DAC is a 30-amino-acid analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (1–29) with four amino-acid substitutions and an added C-terminal lysine carrying a maleimidopropionyl group, the drug affinity complex (DAC), which binds serum albumin. It is identified by CAS 446262-90-4.
Choose the size
The 2 mg and 5 mg vials contain the same peptide in different labeled amounts. Identity and specification are the same at both strengths.
CJC-1295 with DAC and CJC-1295 without DAC are different molecules: the DAC version carries the albumin-binding group, and the No DAC version does not. The CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin (No DAC) Blend contains the No DAC form and is a separate product.
What the research establishes
Jetté and colleagues prepared maleimide-modified versions of GRF (1–29) designed to bind albumin. In vitro, the conjugates resisted dipeptidyl peptidase-IV and still stimulated growth hormone secretion from cultured rat pituitary cells; in rats, CJC-1295 associated with albumin and remained detectable in plasma beyond 72 hours.
Teichman and colleagues reported two randomized, placebo-controlled studies in healthy adults, observing prolonged, dose-dependent increases in growth hormone and IGF-I. These findings concern CJC-1295 under those experimental conditions, not the performance of this product, and CJC-1295 is not an approved medicine.
