Description
Cagrilintide 5 mg and 10 mg
Buy cagrilintide 5 mg or 10 mg for laboratory research. Each vial contains the labeled amount of cagrilintide as lyophilized powder.
- 5 mg: per vial
- 10 mg: per vial
Cagrilintide is a lipidated, long-acting analogue of the pancreatic peptide hormone amylin, described as a non-selective agonist at amylin and calcitonin receptors. It is identified by CAS 1415456-99-3.
Choose the size
The 5 mg and 10 mg vials contain the same peptide in different labeled amounts. Identity and specification are the same at both strengths.
This product contains cagrilintide only. It is not combined with semaglutide or any GLP-1 receptor agonist, and amylin analogues act at different receptors from GLP-1 or GIP analogues; any such compounds are separate molecules.
What the research establishes
Kruse and colleagues described the development of cagrilintide. Native amylin has a strong tendency to form amyloid fibrils, and the existing analogue pramlintide is short-acting; their structure–activity work produced a stable, lipidated analogue that was selected for clinical development. Cagrilintide has since been studied in clinical trials, both alone and in combination with the GLP-1 analogue semaglutide.
This research concerns the design and characterization of cagrilintide and its investigation in sponsored clinical programmes. It does not describe the performance of this product, and cagrilintide supplied here is research material only.
Review the COA and product files
The COA & Documentation page contains the available batch reports and product documentation. Check the lot and strength, how identity was confirmed (typically mass spectrometry, which should reflect the lipidated structure), and the purity method used (typically HPLC).
The strengths above describe labeled material, not a measured result for every lot. For handling and storage, consult the records applicable to the lot you hold.
