SLU-PP-332 5 mg
Buy SLU-PP-332 5 mg for laboratory research. Each vial contains 5 mg of SLU-PP-332 as a dry, solid powder.
- 5 mg: per vial
SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic small molecule, not a peptide. It is described in the literature as an agonist of the estrogen-related receptors ERRα, ERRβ and ERRγ, with greatest potency at ERRα, and is identified by CAS 303760-60-3 (molecular formula C18H14N2O2).
Choose the size
SLU-PP-332 is offered in a single 5 mg strength. Because it is a small molecule rather than a peptide, its handling characteristics differ from the peptide products on this store: it is poorly soluble in water and is usually described as soluble in organic solvents such as DMSO. Check the product files for the solvent data supplied with your lot.
SLU-PP-332 is listed under Research Compounds and should not be confused with peptide products that act on unrelated receptors.
What the research establishes
Billon and colleagues reported SLU-PP-332 as a pan-ERR agonist and characterised it in a skeletal muscle cell line and in mice. In cells, the compound increased mitochondrial function and cellular respiration. In mice, they observed an increase in oxidative type IIa muscle fibres, an ERRα-dependent gene programme resembling an acute aerobic exercise response, and greater running endurance.
A follow-up study by the same group examined the compound in mouse models of obesity and metabolic syndrome. These findings concern SLU-PP-332 in cell and rodent models under those experimental conditions, not the performance of this product, and no human studies have been published.
Review the COA and product files
COA & Documentation contains the available batch reports and product documentation. Check that the lot number and the 5 mg strength match your vial, that identity has been confirmed by an appropriate method such as mass spectrometry or NMR, and how purity was measured (for example, HPLC with the detection wavelength stated).
The strength above describes labelled material, not a measured result for every lot. For solvent and storage information, consult the records that apply to your batch.
