Description
BPC-157 5 mg and 10 mg
Buy BPC-157 5 mg or 10 mg for laboratory research. Each vial contains the labeled amount of BPC-157 as lyophilized powder.
- 5 mg: per vial
- 10 mg: per vial
BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide, sequence Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val, derived from a protein found in human gastric juice. It is identified by CAS 137525-51-0.
Choose the size
The 5 mg and 10 mg vials contain the same peptide in different labeled amounts. Identity and specification are the same at both strengths.
This product contains BPC-157 only. The BPC-157 + TB-500 Blend is a separate product with fixed proportions of both peptides; separate vials allow each compound to be selected and recorded independently. For molar calculations, use the molecular weight of the form reported on the COA.
What the research establishes
Chang and colleagues studied BPC-157 in rat Achilles tendon explants and cultured tendon fibroblasts. They observed accelerated outgrowth from tendon explants, improved fibroblast survival under oxidative stress, and increased, dose-dependent fibroblast migration and spreading, while the proliferation assay showed no direct increase. These changes were accompanied by increased phosphorylation of FAK and paxillin, two proteins involved in cell adhesion and movement.
These findings concern BPC-157 in rat tendon tissue and cells under those experimental conditions, not the performance of this product.
Review the COA and product files
The COA & Documentation page contains the available batch reports and product documentation. Check the lot and strength, how identity was confirmed (typically mass spectrometry against the expected mass for the 15-residue sequence), the purity method used (typically HPLC) and any salt form reported.
The strengths above describe labeled material, not a measured result for every lot. For handling and storage, consult the records applicable to the lot you hold.
